Tell me, how do you feel about her? Apparently she's a "past crush" so basically that means that you don't like her anymore right? Well most likely you both broke up for a reason, but maybe harbors he same feelings as you do? What I think would be the best option for you is to meet him, not texting or calling, meet him face to face and tell him that you still love him. If he says he feels the same way, great, but if he doesn't feel the same way then it's time to let go. No matter how much you love a person, if they don't love you back, then that's that, you can't force him to be with you if he doesn't love you anymore.
