For the record, I don't like my father, he left my family when I was 5 or 7 to bury his father; I didn't hear from him for almost half of my life! Sure, I was happy when I got a response on FB because I never had seen him in a long period of time, who wouldn't be (though I was still mad at him for breaking his promise he'd come home for the Christmas break). My sister was sent to live with my father because she didn't want to go into foster care and my mother was pregnant with my little brother at the time so my mom talked to my father about him taking her so she could get better.. When she came home she looked normal.. or at least on the outside.. She didn't tell me this until recently. It is not because I am jealous of my sister that she was living with my father, she was making bad decisions by going down the wrong path and my mother thought is was right to hand her over to my father; that was obviously a mistake...I should have protected her...I failed as an older sister.......
