I’ve only ever slept with one man, and that one man had to be the person that my girlfriend and I ran into yesterday. I’m really open about a lot of things with Mary. Although my rampant drug and alcohol days in high school I’m pretty tight lipped about. Which is why I nearly shat a billion bricks when she later asked how Nick and I met and how we were friends. I told her that Nick and I just had home room together. I don’t think she bought it, though I’ve never been good at lying. Well,what was I supposed to tell her? That I met Nick in the back of the school one fine sunny evening.There he offered free pain pills and beer if he could fuck me. Also,that I hung out at his place nearly every day after that just to get a free fix. I couldn’t tell her that. Seeing him again was a bit awkward, but it’s nice to know he didn’t go down the path of no return. He told me that shortly after high school he had some sort of epiphany and decided to clean up his act. He plans on finishing his psychology degree then becoming either an ordained minister or a psychologist. I’m glad he seems to be doing alright.
