its called linking an ip address to an address to a computer to an owner. As a Computer Engineer, i know that nothing on the computer is anonymous. I just hope these people are not getting away with it.

Through IP address information. However, I believe that legally, while some of the content of this site is reprehensible, it's still protected. Besides, most of the people posting here haven't done jack shit with or to anyone; it's purely fantasy. And one could make the argument that that's healthy.. That by finding an outlet, these impulses are released and no longer bottled-up and allowed to create a real monster, who really does do such things.
