To whom it may concern I was intellectually and financially assaulted by the manager of the sofa express furniture store in my town of cincinnati,ohio at their rookwood location.I merely wanted to purchase a sofa for my kids playroom and wanted to take it with me since I had my truck with me and it was marked clearence on the tag.To their credit they have an excellent salesman in Rick Mcgowan but the manager Susie Baker is the most ignorant person I've met in sometime.The sale was basically wrapped up until Susie 'the manager' intervened..informing me that for 1 there would be a pick up charge...even though the sofa was already there....and second, that even though I was purchasing their dupont teflon protection I would be given no extended warranty.I truly believe she was drunk,she did smell of beer.I say this because she seemed confused and disoriented and she was just being mean...like she was having a bad day and just because my sale was not a big one...she could afford to belittle me.She was very condescending.I didn't feel like arguing with her all day so i drove to the sofa express in tri-county and made the exact same purchase and paid no pick-up charge and got a 5 year warranty with my dupont purchase.If my wife had not been dead set on the stupid sofa I would not have driven to tri-county to give them the business but we will never shop there again the future.
