working at daycare center

I worked in daycare center for years had the same complaint for years and the person is still there(shes the asst. director) (she would hurt peoples feelings, talks about you loud enough that you would hear her, not give tours of the center to people if she felt like she did not like them, get smart with parents, have attitudes with staff and parents, would use people to get what she wanted, she would sit on her fat butt and make other people do all the work but when the corporate office people would come in town she would smile in their face and act like she does everything and the director would always know about everything but wouldn't say anything to her) now that I had quit the corporate office says I was a hard worker and dedicated to my job and I played a very important role in the center and that my dedication to the job would be greatly missed and that they are sorry to see me go and that I should have went to them about my complaints if I felt they where not being addressed. That's why there is a director and she should have addressed them instead of saying don't worry about the little things worry about the big things. Since I quit I think they should apologize to me for putting up with it for so long.
