I know this is gonna be dirty but....Fuck is a very useful word in the english language. I beleive it comes from the angelo-saxon word 'flikken' which means to strike. For instance as a verb, 'Can we fuck?' or a noun, 'That was a great fuck!' an adjective 'She is fucking beautiful' it can used to desribe disdain, 'I fucking hate this' or ' I dont like what the fuck is going on' or uncertainity 'Who the fuck was that?' or being in a bad situation 'It looks like I'm fucked' or showing that you dont care, 'i dont give a fuck' its also part of a compound word 'motherfucker'
