Willie's Cycles Is the Motorcycle Salvage King of Lies My husband purchased a part for his 1986 motorcycle, and received the part he ordered from Willie's Cycles, but they sent the part for a 1984. My husband spoke to a mechanic who told him that the parts were not compatible, so we called Willie's to ask for a refund. We were told by a salesperson that Willie was not there and to call back later, because he could not authorize a refund, but they normally do not, and never have given a refund for an electrical part. We called back the following day, but you guessed it, Willie was not there, and we were told to call back again tomorrow. In the meantime, I searched their website, and couldn't find any statement or information related to refunds regarding electrical parts. I copied the following statement word for word from their website regarding refunds: “Our Guarantee Why Go Anywhere Else? We give full refunds or exchange on parts arriving defective and will accept returns on incorrect parts. We do have a re-stock fee of only 20% if you mis-order your part.” I did not misorder my part, they sent me the wrong part, and I still haven't gotten a response to my request for a refund of $710.00 minus shipping charges. In the meantime, a tree fell and crushed my husband bike, so now we don't have a need for the part. I think that Willie's Cycles has had plenty of time to refund my money, considering my husband ordered the part almost two weeks ago. This senseless company did not even send a receipt with my order, so all I have is a copy of my bank statement to prove that I made the purchase! I'm sick of getting the run around from Willie's Cycles, so BUYERS BEWARE!
