The love of my life isn't ready to let go of the pain of her past and finally get close enough to me to not have to keep secrets or hide her feelings. I fear she would rather leave me than ever truly be there for me unconditionally. My heart is broken and she thinks if she mends, she will just break it again. I hate myself and sometimes wish I could kill myself to spare her any more pain.

Fuck her! If she is causing you so much pain, she isnt worth very much. Its hard now, but learn to put yourself first because you'll realize that life is very short, and you'll look back wondering why you wasted so much time worrying. You need to let her go for now, if it is meant to be and if she is truly worth it, then she'll come back. Girls who cant let go of a love before you do that for a reason. Its because you're still second to that person who hurt her. And this is coming from someone who had this problem with an ex. You have to realize you're self worth and realize that you have to refuse to be second, to ANYONE. Love yourself before you love anyone. Not being with the one you love is hard, but it is something that you can get over and it is definitely not losing your life or time over.

well listen to her and be there for her for one / dont try to block it out thats not helpin her any / and killin urself thats selfish she needs someone there for her / so grow some ballls and become a man / because im sure she loves u / she just need to know u will be there for her!!!!!!!
