Wigtown Booktown

one of the biggest let downs for tourist's in South West Scotland must be Wigtown, billed as Scotlands booktown. This depressing place, which was so quiet that it resembles a ghost town,seems to have gained it's title due to the existence of a few inadequately stocked bookshops most of which also sell items other than books. Verdict a waste of fuel travelling there.
