Wife leaving me, over money.

My wife and I have been married for 25 years. We have both worked during out marriage and have no kids by choice. We've had our ups and downs but have always managed to pull through. I have been out of work for 8 months now. We've had to move to a smaller apartment, sell everything we could to pay our outstanding bills and now are facing bankruptcy. She works odd jobs here and there so she can pay for little things she likes such as jewelry and crafting items. No matter how much I tell her she needs to stop because we need every dollar we have just to get by she will come home with a new bracelet or some trendy crafting kit and say that "It's her money, she can spend it however she wants." At the start of the year my unemployment was cut off by congress. I have no income at all now and my wife still won't adjust her spending habits to our tiny income (hers) and keeps saying it's her money. I see it as a cleansing experience and a way for us to start over. She thinks it's the end. Now she told me she can't keep living like this and is leaving me. After 25 years of marriage she is going to just walk away because I can't support her anymore. I can't believe that after all these years she is just willing to walk away.

my husband was without work for a whole year and we were limited to very little income we have 3 small children and we have been thru some very very hard times but never did i once think about leaving him marriage is for better or for worse for rich or for poor you don't run when things get tough you find a way to overcome things together your wife is selfish and she probably does not love you anymore you can do better

Sorry, buddy, you're a loser. She is right to kick your ass to the curb.

Let her go. Who needs a cunt that only wants your money? You'll get by just fine without a life sucking bitch like that around.

She's selfish, and a quitter. Also sounds like she's looking for someone else to pay for her wants. With all due respect to you, you need to let her go and be glad for it. Circumstances don't make the person, they reveal him or her. She wants to stick around when things are good & comfortable, but jumps ship when the going gets a little tough. There's somebody better out there for you. Hang in there,my friend.
