Why the War

I really do not understand why we are at war in Iraq. If the was was because of 911 thats stupid because we've lost just about as many Americans as were lost on 911. Over 60,000 people who are Iraqui have died this year along. The country will take years to regain what it lost and why all over some weapons of mass destuction that were never found.
