I had to go the the doctor today. I had a lump on my chest. A week ago I went to the gynecologist for a normal check up. Within one week I’ve been diagnosed with both infertility and Breast Cancer. I’m still in highshool. I’m only 18. I don’t understand why this is happening to me.

There's only one thing you gotta understand about this, and that's that shit happens to us. Shitty things; always and forever. I had testicular cancer when I was 21. I lost a nut and pretty sure that radiation therapy rendered the other one useless. It's not the same exact thing you're goin through obviously, but if you think about it, it is. We both lost a body part we probably really liked and we both won't have children. The thing that basically got me through it was to realize that sure I lost a nut and all my potential children, but I didn't lose the NFL, music, pepperoni pizza, and all my friends and family who are still alive like me at this point. I'm sure you have an "NFL, music, pepperoni pizza, and friends and family" that you also haven't lost yet. Life is often a downer like this, but to me at least, it's still intriguing enough for me to stay in it once shit goes real bad. When there's still things that I thoroughly enjoy, nothing brings me down anymore. I don't know, I hope that helped.
