What friends?

I honestly feel closer and more intimate with my cat than any of my friends, and i can't bear the thought that he'll die before i do. He is a HUGE part of my life and he knows all my secrets. Friends? What are those?

Totally agree. Animals ARE wonderful. Those that accept reality will know that in the human world "friends" is JUST a word, nothing more... A word to distract the feeling of being so called alone.

I had a cat like that.. we got him when I was 5 and he was so sweet. if I hurt myself he'd always come up to me and cuddle me. call me crazy but he was the best friend i ever had. He got hit by a car when I was 11 and almost died, I swore I'd never let anything hurt him again. He got really ill and had to be put down last week.. dunno what to do without him now. . rip Dusty
