what do I do?

There's this guy that i am completely in love with but im terrified to tell... the reason why is because he's 40 and im 19, we had a think that was so amazing and we were so happy but the age difference got the best, then we started talking again but i didnt know what to do because i couldn't be with him cuz i got a new boyfriend, i kept talking to him because it made me happy but nothing happened, then my boyfriend saw the messages between us and he freaked out, that night he asked me to Marry him in front of a crowd so i couldn't say no, now i think about it and i don't know what to do because i wonder if i made the right decision because i miss talking to him and i felt so happy and complete with him but im afraid to do anything cuz i dont know if he still feels the same. is there anybody else that understands or has some advice besides follow your heart, cuz my heart is so confused right now?
