I purchased a car in Feb.of 2006 and was given a loan from WellsFargo Bank where I also have an checking and savings account. I live in Texas and could not drive off of the lot without insurance and so I did so. Wellsfargo looked at my husbands last name and not mine and than said we had no insurance on the car. I immediately proved to them that we did and thought all was well...... BIG MISTAKE. They raised my monthly payments to over 300.00 more I showed them again that I had the insurance. I would received phone calls all hours of the day night and weekends about past due balances. On one occasion I made a payment in the bank on Wed. and on Saturday they called and said I was late. This went on for 4 months only to find out they were joining two divisions. I would be on the phone with one person at an 866 prefix and a person from an 408 number would call with the same claim. I payed bothside for 2 months. Now after 6 months and 17hours on the phone I finally got and credit for the 1800.00 in insurance that wasn't suppose to be paid.. And Wellsfargo has reported to the credit agencies that I was late three times not on the carnote but on the INSURANCE NOTE THEY ADDED..... If you are wise and can count to more than 10 your smarter than Wellsfargo so don't use them........
