Wells Fargo Sucks!!!!! Me and my boyfriend had just recently stopped by a local Wells Fargo Bank to cash a check that his grandmother(who is a longtime customer)gave him. Neither one of us are using any plastic or forms of checks because we don't have alot of money. I have banked with a small federal credit union since I was born. I love my local credit union because they treat me as a real person and not a number like other big banks. Anyway.. we had two forms of Id's. One drivers licence and another state issued ID from another state that he used to live in. Mind you, they were both valid. My boyfriend also had his actuall birth certificate on him at the time too. When we went to the bank, the lady said that they would not take the D.L and birth certificate as solid forms of ID. So we had to go back and get his state issued ID from another state. Drove and got that and then went back for a second time. They wouldn't even take that. To make a point...there are millions of consumer complaints just like mine and Wells Fargo knows about half of them, yet they do nothing to improve the customer service satisfaction because they know they are in way over their heads. So what can we do to be treated more fairly if this has happened to you? Don't bank with big time banks if you want to get your $$$$$ you work hard for, or even given to-teated with respect. Wells Fargo doesn't give two shits if they fuck up because you are a number now to them-not a person. If your birth certificate can't even be justified as an acurate form of ID , but a plastic card that could eaisily be fraudulent (credit card) is,or a number you were given(your SS #)is, what the fu*%! is this country coming to? we pu all of our lifes earning in the hands of banks that don't care about it-Should we to blame in trusting them.wells Fargo just had a computer stolen on may 7th that included thousands of customers names, phone numbers, social security numbers, and address.'LOST IN THE SYSTEM' they call it- your private information could be lost in the WRONG hands. Now, I am not saying that this couldn't happen to small banks either- but come on....What are those people safe from? If they didnt have numbers only recorded, they would be better off. I just think in my oppinion(which I am entitled to)that if they change some of there procedure to the customers satifactions.Notice how I said some, not all....then it would save busy working americans from waisting valuable time and GAS, driving back and forth to meet there consumer frustrating guidlines and rules. They better take a better look around. Thank you.
