I just went to Nissan Motor Corp.web site to complain about a few things that I think are of poor design or inferior materials on the 2002 Altima.(1)The plastic nylon piece that holds the hood rod is of poor design.I have snapped two of them off when locking them in place. The hook part is too thin.(2)The wheel studs are of poor quality material. I have snapped three of them off.At first I thought that they were cross threaded but after brushing the threads with a wire brush, the lug nuts went on and off ok.I just had some new wheels put on a month ago and tonight I had a flat tire.I couldn't get the wheel off without snapping the wheel studs off.I think that the stud material is too soft and the threads get crushed on tightening of the lug nuts.( Now I'm going to have to buy three studs).(3)The key fob is a very poor design. The loop at the top is too thin. The loops on both my key fob's broke off while in my pocket. If you look at a General Motors Corp. key fob it looks like a solid oval with a hole drilled in it.No way will it break.Nissan's web site was all about buy this and look at us!No way that a consumer could voice anything about flaws.Nissan's web site should be more people friendly.
