I used to work for financial credit services, well lets just say from the start of working there, I thought wow this collection agency is a hard business. When i further started to educate myself on the laws of collections, i realized the consumer's were right. when i would bring this up to the owners or the management they would laugh and say oh so your learning your laws, well til they get caught no one will no. let alone i worked every day and average 2 week pay period would be 120 minimum hours worked. i would go hey i'm clerical i should get time and a half. and they would say no we don't pay that. so i would try to work a normal 40 hr week and they would be like nope we need u to stay longer, i would get so mad! now, i just recently quit 2 months ago. since i saw a fax come thru regarding a huge lawsuit. within a day of quiting, i found a new job and just never went back to work; lisa madigan the attorney general of illinois has placed a lawsuit against financial credit services for all illegal tactics. i just laugh, since i knew it was coming. i really don't know how anyone could sleep at night, i couldn't i would always try to fix there issues people would complain about, but they would just go on to ignore the consumer. i hope you didn't become a victim of their fraudulent scams on accounts that were out of statute.
