Warranty after sale

I purchased a Zero Turn 52 ' lawnmower from a local auto center in last part of 2002. Its a Country Clipper Jayzee 52 inch. I used it very little in 2002 and have cut with it ever since. This mower is not used for commercial use but for private use. This year the mower turned 82 hours and started making a noise in the left wheel motor (hydraulic motor sealed unit). I tend to keep the mower very clean as its the most I ever paid for a mowing maching and I'm retired. I took the mower back to Schell Auto Center in town and they said they called Country Clipper tech. line and they advised that the breathers on the wheel motors must have let water into the system. The dealer asked Country Clipper to warranty the motor as it had very low hours (not ready for a spindle grease job yet at 100 hrs) and the mower is like new. Country clipper said it was my fault for washing the mower, I say its a poor design on the breather. My dealer then drained both wheel motors twice to make sure any water in the unit would be eliminated, then charged me $57.74 for service and oil. Dealership was told to call Hydro-gear and talk to their rep. and see if they would do something about this problem. They advised my dealer that they (dealer) were not techicians for Hydro-Gear and they could not repair it as parts were not available to them. I then called Hydro-Gear and spoke to a Dan Davis and explained that I've mowed a total of two weeks with the mower (82 hrs) and am having problem with the wheel motor he advised me to take it to a Hydro-Gear tech. and they would fix it at the owners cost. Didnt seem to car about helping with this problem. I'm told a new wheel motor would cost in the area of $800.00 and I think Country Clipper and Hydro-Gear should warranty the problem and repairs. They deny warranty because I've owned the unit over two year warranty. Dont you think a mower that cost a little under $5000.00 should mow more than 82 Hrs? BEWARE OF COUNTRY CLIPPER AND HYDRO-GEAR PRODUCTS AS WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS!
