Want to let go of the past

I've been abused in the past and let down a lot. I've survived by lying and manipulating. I don't lie or manipulate the man who is my soulmate. I want to wash away my sins so that I can be strong for my soulmate. I feel if I say my faults out loud maybe the world will let me move on.
