Want to check for complaints against a particular

Why isn't there simply a internet site where you can check to see if there has been a complaint against a company. One that lists how many complaints, but does not accept more than one complaint from an individual. Because I do know that dealing with the public is not alway easy and that customers can be unduly unfair as well.
