WAMU is causing me grief

After paying off my Home Equity line of credit loan (which was at 9.55%), Washington Mutual refuses to send me a refund. This amount started at $4985, but my last call revealed that somehow more charges were deducted and the refund is around $4500. I paid my loan off on 9/5. They charged me interest daily while I had their money, but now that they have mine they have decided to sit on it.
