This company false advertises. For starters,they state that the first month is free, yet our account has been charged for activations, shipping, a modem fee and all of this within the first 30 days to the total amount of $215.00. I had to eventually close my bank account to avoid any more automatic deductions charges. This was just for my home phone. I also applied for business services too, I was informed that I received an extra line for my fax. In the end, I ended up paying for the extra line, and other bogus charges' that reminded me of Bellsouth. within the first month my business account was charged another approx $200.00., in the midst of all of this, I was informed by my current(Bellsouth) phone / internet service company if I were to switch my phone services I would have to cancel my service with them, search for a new ISP provider because they did not work with Vonage and pay an additional $89 - 159 charge for internet service. And still did not get the priviledge to use the service. When I contacted them to cancel the service, I was given every excuse in the book why I shouldnn't and what ISP's I could contact. To date, I still haven't received a refund, ( it has to be deposited into the account that I closed) they do not issue check refunds,because they are a paperless company.
