How come veterinarians don't have to post a price list for what they charge? Pets are considered under the law to be 'posessions', so how come they aren't required to tell us ahead of time so we can shop around. This seems to be highly unethical, along with the follow up visits which range from 20 to 60 dollars it seems, depending on what kind of mood my vet is in or if he's made his mortgage payment that month.
