Verizon Want Let GO

We moved to a new area and Verizon, whom we have used for over 10 years, could not give us a local number or service. They told us we could send in proof our our new address and they would waive the early termination. We had a family plan with two phones. I first sent a copy of an Electric bill with our new address. They said that wasn't enough since the bill was in my wife's name. Then I sent a copy of another utility bill, in my name, and they said that wasn't enough because it was a payment-stub. It was a copy of our entire bill! The service representative thought the second document should have been good enough but the people who are determined to see if they can get me to pay their early termination fee rather than deal with their hassle. Now they want me to send a copy of my drivers license with our new address. I'm going to do that. If they don't accept that I'm going to turn the issue over to the State's Consumer Protection Agency. Stay away from Verizon - all those people following the nerd from Verizon aren't there to keep the network running they are there to think up ways to get more of your money!
