This complaint is against Allied Van Lines in Columbus, Ohio and Central Van and Storage in Poca W VA, where the careless and disinterested people were responsible for losing some personal and valuable property of mine. This happened last October when I moved from Ohio to Florida and since then I have contacted them many times to get my stuff back. It has been lost or stolen and they refuse to take any responsibility for it, say it is my fault, should have been made note of in the move. It is my contention that anything they moved for me and carried on their truck should have been their responsibility and they should make this right. I have contacted Better Business Bureau, their company in several offices, but the last communication from them said they consider the matter closed. This is so unfair! I paid my money in advance, and now I'm supposed to take responsibility for their carelessness. I'd advise anyone to not consider Allied Van Lines or their subsidiaries if you want your stuff to be safe and arrive securely.
