unrealistic or a possibility?

i'm in love with my boyfriend of one year. he means alot to me and i can't imagine not having him around. but we've never been in the same room as one another, let alone met! i've spoken with him on the phone and seen him on webcam. i hope to visit him soon but i'm 17 and can't find a way to convince my parents into seeing that i can make decisions for myself, and get their permission to visit him... he's only a few days away.
