I went to see a therapist located in the Pittsburgh, PA area some time ago his name is Lanny Detore, Ed.D. Lanny's task was to evaluate me for a S.S.D.I. claim. He would ask me questions then answer his phone, consitantly interupting me and our interview, he would pick up his appointment book about every 10 minutes or so and go from page to page to look through it. He would ask me questinons during his interview, when I would give him an incorrect answer (which I did on more than one occassion he would then provide me with the correct one and then say 'there you did it right'. I ask 2 questions #1 How can anyone make an accurate assessment of a problem while not paying attention to it? #2 - How is an individual with an Ed.D. degree qualified to make psychiatric judgements? Both Mr. Detore and the process are a sham, designed to discourage individuals from seeking due assistance.
