My car stopped because the timeing belt broke. It was towed to my home. The next day it was towed to Gillman mitsubishi 18010 north frwy houston tx 77090. The fee for repair was nesr $2400. For this work Gillman paid the Loaner car from Toyota which they do their business. There was a discoloration on the roof of car near the sunroof which was a manufacture defect. Gillman said they would take care of the re-painting under warranty. I would be responsible for a small dent on driver side which was $300. At that time they said they would give me a loaner while this paint job was being done. Later the manager of Gillman sales found out that Mitsubishi would not cover a loaner, so he informed me I would have to pay for the loaner, which was $441.46. Now my bank has informed me that toyota rent a car is also charging me for old rent a car statements that Gillman was to pay while my eclipse was being fixed of repairs. Darrel slipped when I asked him about this rent a car deal, He said that if mitsubishi was charged while car was being painted, that this amount would come out of his wage and he would not allow that to happen. Needless to say, I will never buy another car from mitsubishi. They are a dishonest business.Mitsubishi kept my car 12 days, which I had to pay for the loaner. The date begin: on the bill statement said 5/27/06 Done:5/31/06. So why did I have to pay for 12 days of a loan car. $441.46 from 5/21/06 through 6/2/06. They called and said my car was ready to be picked up on6/2/06 at 9:a.m. in the morning, just prior to me leaving for work. I picked up my car that noon hour on my lunch, 6/2/06. Why was I told they would cover the loaner, and then told I would have to pay. And why did I have to pay from 5/21/06, when they began paint on 5/27/06 and ended on 5/31/06 and did not notify me until 6/2/06. I female, have a husband in Afghanistqn, military. So who am I to turn to. Gillman Mitsubishi has been very unfair with this situation. And when I tried to stand up for myself, they all laughed in my face. Thank you for listening.
