unethical friends

My supervisor at work convinced me that she was my friend even though she was 15 years younger than me and possibly an alcoholic. First people began to think that I was an alcoholic because I hung out with her. Her drinking was ok Mind wasn't--even though I was only drinking gingerale. Then her boss began to complain about my performance and work. I was accused of causing her work to be late--but my work never impacted hers. Finally I quit work to get away from her and the trouble that she was causing in my life. Everyone--including therapists--told me that I was paranoid, and couldn't accept my weaknesses. Fifteen years later, a few days before my husband died, he confessed that they were having an affair. That she was angry and was setting me up so I would quit work and it would be easier for them to meet. 1. I think that it is terrible that someone would try to be your friend to get involved with your spouse. 2. I think that my husband was a real louse to let me suffer all of those years. He would lie to the therapists so they would attack my character, jealousy and paranoia.
