Thank you for your e-mail which has been received by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), Consumer Contact Centre. We aim to respond within 12 working days where a response is required. However, more complex queries may take longer. We attach some information about the FSA and the Consumer Contact Centre (CCC) that may assist you while we prepare any response to your e-mail. The role of the CCC is: to answer general consumer enquiries regarding financial products and services; to advise consumers if a firm is authorised or not; and to assist (where possible) consumers with an enquiry which falls outside of our remit, by directing them to another organisation. We regret we may not be able to: answer enquiries where the information requested is not available on our website, or via our range of information sheets, fact sheets and booklets; provide statistical information; give private opinions or rule interpretations; respond to all enquiries individually. We have attached an information sheet giving general information about the FSA and the work it undertakes as the regulator of the financial services industry in the United Kingdom. However we do not seek to regulate or influence the everyday business decisions of firms and we cannot comment on their commercial decisions. Where relevant, we have shared the information you have given us with other departments within the FSA. Please note that the Financial Services and Markets Act (2000) imposes restrictions on how we deal with information we receive and we would be unable to let you know if any subsequent action was taken. For further consumer friendly information on financial services, you may wish to visit our website (www.fsa.gov.uk/consumer). Their name is: Graham Daniels Susan Daniels (perhaps related) g.mcauley@ntlworld.com graham.daniels3@btinternet.com graham.daniels3@btopenworld.com susandaniels22@btinternet.com Tel: +44 2920 750 341 They claim to be FSA compliant and registered by the FSA. They are dealing with Indian call centres. here in India. They ask us to generate leads for them and then they refuse to pay up, the fees associated with this exercise. They have duped my India based call centre alone to the tune of Pounds 8,500, which was to be paid against the delivery of leads of prospective secured loan customers for them. Further, I am given to understand that they are not any lender but just a broker who 're-sell' these leads to more than one lenders. Since we worked for them, the leads that we generated (the home owners) called us back at our inbound numbers to complain that they are getting more than 5 calls every day, trying to sell them various financial products including mortgage and secured loans. May we request that you guide us, how we can seek redressal against this swindling that has happened with us. May I also request that you advise me whether they are actually registered or reconized by FSA in any capacity. If there is another method to lodge a complaint than this, please advise and I would be obliged to you for any such directions.
