I have just returned from holiday in Tunisia and it was a good holiday with one major exception. Do not buy gold in this country. I went to a reputable shop in Port o Kentoui to purchase a gold chain. It was hallmarked and I had a reciept to say it was of high carat gold. The reciept was signed and the chain was hallmarked. When I arived home it was checked by a jeweller and found to be a base metal with a covering of 18 carat gold.Please beware do not buy any gold no matter how reputable the shop looks. Angela
