I know exactly what you mean. I've been bisexual for my entire life, always known it, but have always been afraid of telling anyone. The one day I did, it was a sleepover with my 2 best friends. They both started freaking out and saying it was just a "phase" and that there was something wrong with me. Yeah, society sucks. But you're not alone.
