My daugher was married in August 2006. The wedding guests wee invited to stay at the Best Western Lodge Eagle, Colorado. The rates were on the invitations. A majority of guests from the wedding choose to stay elsewhere, when they call Eagle Best Western the price quoated for the room was higher then on the invites. OK so big deal I (mom) lived with that. I understand. Well many people did stay at the Best Western. The hotel staff was rude, not organized, had the room orders all messed up, people switched rooms as some were nastsy roken refrig, coffee pots, stinky so on.The front Desk did not care, in fact they were understaffed, so I almost felt sorry for person at the desk. It was an awful experience. Well to cut to the chase. My husband paid Cash for our rooms, we included pastors room bridal party so on. Ok no big deal , thank God we kept reciepts. Two weeks after the wedding I noticed my checking account was upside down. Best Western got into my account and tood $226.00. To this day the bank is disputing they deny doing this. They lie, cheat, manipulate. I got my master card bill about one week later and these thieves took over $250 from Master Card. They had no signatures. I used card to hold room. I called corporate, they did nothing. They told me that the manager Glen said he credited my checking account. No he did not I tell them and he stole from Master Card. They said well he told us that is what he did. They told me I had to dispute with Master Card on that charge. I have disputed. MY point is this, this hotel took from us.They also did it to two more in Wedding Party. Corporate just spapped us in the face. I am going all the way. I need help. I have an attorney friend he calllled the general manager in Eagle as Corporate offices changed all the phone numbers( I Wonder Why) The main customer service number cost $5 per minute. Oh my God these corporations. We all know for the most part you must be rich to get them. I plan on going all the way. I hope I just do not waste time because they are so huge. They are dirty corprate, players. I am so upset, they have cost me thousands as when that happened some checks did not clear and the snowball has not stopped. The bank covered immediate chrges, yet they did not cover company check charges. The bank is working with me, but in the mean time our account looks like bad check writers. It is awful and no one thus far wants to help. My attorney friend is on mild manor side. I need a bully to go after these blood, money hungry thieves. It is a shame to do this to the 'poorperson' Is there a middle class anymore? I would like any help, advice, opinion if you could do that maybe together we can knock them down.
