i worked for mike and heidi fitosis for 2 years was there everyday and days i had off they would call me in and never did i one time did i turn them down i worked my ass off fro them as a waitress and did many other jobs that most waitress dont have to do for example i cleaned bathrooms 6 days a week i vacumed the dining room every night which entelled moving of every table chair and booth out, i also swept and mopped all the floors excluding the kitchen i did dishes at times i rolled silver ware and many other thing .as i said i worked 6 days a week no less than 8 hour a day and was paid 50 dollars cash .i did this so my children could have christmasbottom lie is.... he finally decided to give my tuesdays off i got one off needless to say i was called in to work but wasnt home, so i didnt make it to work that night,but monday night i made plans to go trick or treating with my two young daughters which were 7 and 5 and also to go with my grandaughters i felt that i was entitled to that last tuesday off since i had made prior plans with my family, and of course i was supposed to have tuesdays off any way .well any way went back to work the following day to let them know that i had made plans thata i couldnt get out of and i needed that last tuesday off because of the plans i had made with my children i was asked what was more important to me my kids and the plans that i made or my job and of course i said my kids i made a promise thinking i was off and wasnt about to break their hearts and back out on them.needless to say even though i only made 50 dollars a week a was an excellent waitress he told me if i didnt show up on that tuesday i was to find another job i think i was treated very unfairly and if anyone has any advice for me please e-mail me at angi18nextelgirl@yahoo.com anything that would help me help him to open his eyes to the mistreatment of employees would be greatly appreciated if you look at the list of employees he has had and how long they have stayed employed you would understand my concern and my intent on finding a way to have something done about his business practices..........thank you for listening
