Booked a last minute holiday through 'THE FLIGHT CENTRE' in Uxbridge. I explained to the agent my choosen hotels in Tunisia that I would like to stay-in. The agent called me back to say 'i have found a great offer, you leave tomorrow for 7 nights in 'THE RESIDENCE' Tunisia for £500 each. I immediately booked over the phone. The agent e-mailed me the flight details and one hour before closing finally sent the hotel name, which was different to the one i was told. I called the Flight Centre and was told that some hotels operate under different names, but the agent would check and get back to me. Whilst waiting for the phone call, I looked it up myself on the internet and the hotel was DIFFERENT and had bad feedback. I recieved no return call and drove to the agent. The Flight Centre were unable to explain how or why this happened. I asked was their commission that important that they were prepared to me under false pretenses to a differenct hotel. I got a refund, as no apology was offered and certainly no concern over the matter was shown. I don't believe the FLIGHT CENTRE staff are stupid, so a mistake can be eliminated, but cheating cannot.
