Traffic scofflaws

We travel the highways of America frequently, both long-distancs and local. No matter where we go, respecting the posted speed limit, we are constantly passed by nearly everyone else on the road. Not just passed, in many cases, but have our 'doors blown off'. Couple this with tailgating, obscene gestures, cell-phone use which is illegal in many states and localities, etc, and the dimensions of illegal conduct and disrespect of the law and others begin to come into focus. And the situation is getting worse by the day. Remedy? More (majority) of police in plain clothes in unmarked, 6 year old cars on patrol. And have them ENFORCE THE LAWS AND RULES OF THE ROAD.
