I went to purchase a used car at Major World/Major Cheverolet(car dealer) at 7pm on 08/01/06. I did not have a down payment but decided to trade in my car(11 yrs old and in good working order), for a 5 yrs old used car from this dealer. My first set back came before leaving Major World. At about 10:30pm the car was wash up on the outside and left with the engine and AC running, I shut it all off but could not get the car to start when I was about to leave. I therefore asked if the car was inspected and was told 'yes, everything has been checked out porperly.' A new battery repaced the seemingly old one and I was able to leave. The very next day, I had three engine failers (while in traffic) and the morining of 08/03/06 a day later, the car refused to start completely and had to be tow back to Major World repair/work shop. Requesting a meeting with a manager took forever, but was later told that the car could not have been inspected at the time of my purchase because that department had already been closed and will have it done immediately. I was lied to by the sales person in order to get me to closed the deal and not to mention putting my life at risk in an unsafe vehicle. I was also told that my traded car(95 GMC truck) was sent to an auction. Major World took my car now trying to take my credit.
