Toyota Selling faulty nav system

Did you know that Toyota is knowingly selling a faulty navigation system in all its new cars? We verified this with corporate Toyota. They have offered us a compensation of $250 in services or parts to try and placate us for wanting our $ back on their $2000 navigation system that is loaded with flaws in the dvd mapping program. We live on a lake in Wisconsin and when we bought our Toyota Highlander in 2004 our lake was clearly shown on the nav map. Well now....Toyota comes along with a $200 dvd mapping upgrade which we purchase, and lo and behold our lake is missing! We have written 6 letters, contacted Toyota corporate etc. only to be told nothing can be done to correct this. Meantime all US dealers knowingly continue to sell this faulty Navigation system. Urge you to beware, skip their nav and get an aftermarket one. You'll be better off.
