I'm moving to a new apartment in the San Fernando Valley, CA. It's a brand new building and I will be the first one to occupy this apartment. Other's have already moved in, the building is set up for cable. So, I call Time Warner almost two weeks before my move (The Monopoly that should not be a monopoly,)to set up a date for installation. They give me some story about have to do a 'site survey that takes 3 to 5 days to complete'. They tell me '...they cannot find my building on their roster.' They inform me that '...I will be contacted when the survery is finished...'. Days go by and no call from Time Warner. I call again. This time I get another story from yet one more CSR...something about the site survey but this one tells me that the only building they show on their computer is an old house and it is not avavilable for cable. WHAT? Christ All Mighty! Long story short.... I have spoken to 8 people at Time Warner in the last ten days. This morning I got different information from yet another CSR. She told me that this process takes 7-14 days. This, after 4 other CSR's last week told me 3-5 days. I'm told this process is scheduled, but has not happened yet. Wanna know what I think? SOMEONE IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB AT TIME WARNER. This is unacceptable. No one can give me a straight, truthful answer about this process of theirs. I may go with satellite. This cable company does NOT have it's crap together. They are terrible, terrible, terrible. Presently I am staying with my Mother in West LA, and our cable blacks out about every hour, for at leasts 15 seconds at a time. Guess who the cable provider is? You guessed it...you are so smart...TIME WARNER! There was an article in the LA TImes about how unorganized they are, and yesterday on the local talk radio (KFI) in L.A., they had people calling in, voicing complaints. Time Warner has been in business many years, and one would expect them do know their business after all this time. They got greedy, bought up everyone and everything and over extended themselves. Now they suck.
