It is normal to cling & continue to miss a love one but the human brain is wired to eventually forgive & forget things of the past. If you seclude yourself & do not interact with other people, the "time" to forget will take longer. Someone else needs to fill that void & once is full & you give that new person your love, every other day you wake up, you will remember less of the other.
