On the 23rd of august 06, I was due to fly to paphos on the 2:05 flight from manchester. I am disappointed because the service you provided, was unsatisfactory, unfinished and defective because; the plane was delayed for 2 hours, shortly after take of struck by lightning forced to emergency land in gatwick, where we were kept on the palne for a further 4 hours without explanation, food or water, then led of the plane and abadoned in gatwick airport without instruction of what to do next or any member of your company present.Four hours later we were instructed to reclaim our bags and given a hotel...still not having been told when we would beable to fly to paphos,or any information of our flight. This is in breach of our contract as laid down by the law. To resolve the problem I require you to restore my faith in your company and explain the failings which occured on the 23rd of Augut. whilst reserving my right to claim against you. I look forward to hearing from you and to a resolution of this problem. I will wait for 7days before arranging for the matter to be corrected by a third party at your cost or seeking help from Trading Standards. Please contact me at the above address. I finally arrived in paphos after being delayed for 26hours,exhausted and hungry, having missed the first day of my holiday. Therefore i also request financial compensation.
