My father is in a bitchy mood and it's wearing down on all of the family. He's on edge and extremely rude. I dont feel like his daughter and I dont feel like calling him my 'dad'. My mom is almost to her breaking point; as she has been for many months now. I dont want him to ruin this family. He can pack up and leave if he doesnt want to care about us anymore.

I lived in a house for seven years that I could not stand to be in. Screaming matches between my Mom and Dad, constantly "competing" with my younger sister in both looks and academics... If I could go back and know that most of my life would stay the same as it is now, I would have left a lot sooner. Don't wait that long, as soon as you can save some money up go far, far away. If your family love you, you will meet them again someday. If not, they are just fucktards.

I always leave my house to get away; but then i worry i bother my friends by staying at their houses. Do you do that? Its best to get out of the house.

Maybe your mom wont leave him for financial reason and doesnt want yall to struggle. Maybe she's afraid to be alone. There could be so many reasons why she hasn't ended the relationship. Talk to her about it. She's the one that can decide whats best for her. Remind her, if shes not happy, then you kids aren't happy. Tell her how you kids feel about that a** also.
