Third Grade Hijinks

My class was taking those standardized province-wide tests. They had stop signs on the page where you stop in each section... I guess I got a little confused, and stopped before the stop, thinking I was finished. While everyone else was scratching away, I sifted some plain paper out of my desk and drew a funny face, which I showed to the kid across the aisle. When I found out I had messed up the stop signs and left two pages of questions blank, it was too late; the teacher wouldn't let me finish. So being the uptight, perfectionistic, panicky kid that I was, I waited until recess. I sneaked into the school, waited until the hall was clear, and crept into the darkened classroom. I located the stack of finished tests, fished mine out from the middle, answered all the questions I missed, replaced the test as I had found it, and walked out of the school. And I didn't feel bad.
