They'll Never Tell You Up Front

When you call in to get an insurance quote at Geico they will never tell you up front that they are doing a credit check on you when you give identify characteristics such as your social security number and that a negative score will affect your company placement from a preferred rate to that of a standard and even substandard company rate that can double or triple the price of insurance. Company placement depends on many things such as age, driving experience, tickets, and reported accidents, but couple even minor tickets or an accident with bad credit and you will see your quoted rate much more then likely to go through the roof then if you just had the minor ticket or minor accident. Even just renting as opposed to owning a home can greatly affect your quoted rate as they fell home owners are safer drivers then those who rent.
