There is evil in the world and he allows it.

There is evil in the world and he allows it. Terrible, terrible things happen to undeserving people and he allows it. Death, torture, rape and bloody murder are real and he allows it. If he is omnipotent, all knowing and powerful why doesen't he stop it? Is he unable to stop it? If he loves us why is he so cruel, uncaring, so malevolent? The majority of us believe, worship, and attend church, mosque, temple and the evil in the world continues. Why do I have to "wait to understand?" Why must I continue to watch this happen over and over and over to people I love? Why? Is he laughing at me? Is my tiny little life a tiny little game on his ipod for his entertainment?

God and religion is a load of crap that sad people follow because they have nothing else to cling on too. It is all just made up crap! Show me some proof that God has done anything. You can't because he hasn't!

I was born Catholic and raised in a religeous home. Even as a third grader I thought it was wrong for the nuns to force me, beat me, to memorize what they thought I was supposed to believe. It has gotten worse since then. I not only no longer not believe I now actively disbelieve those carechism verses I was forced to remember. It's not that god doesn't care...he doesn't exist. I think anyone who expresses belief is a fool who can't see what I know to be the obvious truth. There is no god and there never has been. There is no heaven and there is no hell. The only thing that matters in life is that we leave behind us; family, true friendship, children, love. These alone are enough for me to try to live a good life. Nothing else matters.

Really? On the contrary, YOU have been brainwashed. "God" clearly does enjoy evil, if she didn't then christianity, islam and Judaism would not exist

If there is a evil then there is God also to help you out.

God does not enjoy evil he hates sin evil makes him sad

nope you have bee brainwashed, evil is evil. there is no "good side" to EVil

I honestly think that God, if she exists, probably ENJOYS many evil things. You can enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace, but you don't want the fire to burn your house down. Well I think God must really enjoy some evil, and come to think of it I enjoy some evil, I enjoy my naughty magazines and such, I think "God's" message to us is not to turn into puritanical zealots - all of us have some sort of evil we enjoy. So DON'T look at evil and see only the negative side of it, see also the POSITIVE side of it, there IS a "good" side to all evil things.

God loves us and gave us free will to do as we choose. Jesus says in John 18:36 , "My kingdom is not of this world" the reason so many horrible things are happening today is because right now satan is ruling Jesus kingdom is in heaven with the almighty that is where everything is perfect this world has been corrupted by sin

theres always been evil. Cain killed Abel. we have freewill and if those people would have chosen gods way they wouldnt be doing that. but how can u know good if theres no evil. god is preparing a place for us were theres no evil. but u have to repent and be born again.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7...reads your bible

Evil is a part of humanity. We simply created the idea of a "god" so that we wouldn't blame ourselves.

"The parent doesn't want to force the child to do anything rather it pleases the parent to see the child choose the right thing to do." Would your loving parent have left you as an infant alone on a swimming pool deck? Would your loving parent have allowed you as a four year old to run in a busy street? Would your loving parent have allowed you as a twelve year old to drive a car? Play with a shotgun? Drink mosquito repellant? We are speaking here of a benevolent God as the loving parent and mankind as his children. Would your loving parent NOT DO EVERYTHING PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE to keep his child from harm?

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” Epicurus, BC 341-70

never questione the love of God, Jesus died so we could have freedom of choice....ppl choose to do stupid things...reads your bible

God gives man free will, unfortunately man by nature is evil, God gives man free will because he wants to be glorified and he wants you to choose him. Sure he could make all of us bow down and worship him but it pleases him more to see his children choose him without being forced, just like a parent and a child y know, the parent doesn't want to force the child to do anything rather it pleases the parent to see the child choose the right thing to do.
