The Wrong Way

I've been trying for over a year to lose my pregnancy weight with a healthy diet and exercise. After 2 months, nothing was happening so I cut my caloric intake to 1000, but exercising more wasnt really an option with 2 babies to care for. I was almost back to my original weight when my thyroid just stopped working and I jumped back to 220 in about a month. 25 lbs in a month with low caloric intake and half an hour of exercise a day. I got on thyroid pills, tried weight loss helpers, stopped eating altogether and tried just about everything but the weight would not come off. It's been six months with zero weight loss so I'm doing something really not recommended by anyone because it can be dangerous. My hypothyroidism was bad, and there is still a little room to get it closer to perfect but my doctor refuses to up my dosage, even though I still have symptoms. I've cut a bunch of pills into 4ths and started adding the extra 25 micrograms to my dose, along with taking an appetite suppressant. In short, I'm forcing myself into mild HYPERthyroidism to lose weight and stop feeling so fatigued all the time. Day 2 of this and it's already working. I never even thought about eating until 5pm today. I havent told my husband about this risky game with my health. But to defend myself, I am also not being completely reckless with it either.

I think your 50 reasons to get pihlycasly fit is perfect! Just writing those down is a step in the right direction! Good luck![]August 3rd, 2011 at 6:46 am, Thanks! Maybe a little honesty and reasons written on paper will push me out of the recliner![]

Consult with a good doctor for this. He will definitely sort out your problem.

drugs of any sort are bad for your health. Isn't the health of your baby's mother more important than how you look? Are you breast feeding? If so, you need proper nutrition so you can pass it on to your baby instead of passing on toxic drugs. The caloric system is so flawed too. You could eat low calories but be eating dead, highly processed food. Try eating whole foods instead. And visit a Naturopath instead of a doctor. Doctors only know how to prescribe drugs; not heal.
