I caught a glimpse within the mirror---of a certain profile, I now hold dear---It wasn't the one, I generally see---When I get to gazing, in the mirror, at me---An image of faults, is what I know---Longer glances, making them grow---But this time I was unaware---That what I would see, would make me stare---I did not see the outside shell---Instead, I saw a beauty dwell---The look was captured, upon my face---An image of undescribable grace---Something that others, have spoken of me---I finally saw for myself, freely---It's taken some years, and much disbelief---I cannot describe, the sense of relief---For I never thought, I'd look good enough---And didn't believe... when others told me that stuff.
