The Power of the Will

Stories abound throughout history of individuals who have overcome incredible obstacles. There doesn't seem to be much written about how powerful the human will is, but here is an example. During WWII the Germans besieged Stalingrad in the USSR for a long time, but it never surrendered. Afterwards it was learned there was not a live horse or even a rat in the whole town. In Thermopalae in ancient Greece, 400 Greeks held off a Persian army of thousands in one of the most heroic battles in history. For sheer willpower it's hard to beat the story of Helen Keller. Do a Google search on her and see.
